US military strike destroys suspected drug-trafficking vessel
The U.S. military carried out a strike on a vessel suspected of involvement in drug-trafficking operations in the Eastern Pacific on June 18, 2026, according to U.S. Southern Command. Video released by the military shows the vessel travelling through the water before being struck and bursting into flames.
